LPM PENDAPA TAMANSISWA lahir dengan SK. No. 021/SW/KEP/PIM/IV/1988, tentang Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa yang ditandatangani oleh Rektor saat itu, Prof. Imam Sudiyat, SH. tertanggal 4 April 1988. Jadi, jalan panjang yang terus ditelusuri kami bersama segudang lika-likunya yang membuat kami terus bertahan dari goncangan dan arus informasi dan persaingan dengan pers umum.
